2.2. Usage

The voraus.core can be licensed in various configurations which include among others

• voraus.core //KUKA to control KUKA robots,

• voraus.core //FANUC to control FANUC robots, or

• voraus.core //virtual running on your desktop PC for training and simulation purposes.

The functionality of these configurations can be easily expanded by various voraus.apps. This allows automation solutions to be controlled holistically via voraus.core. Numerous real-time fieldbuses or peripheral devices like smart cameras can be operated with your application to serve any industrial solution (see Fig. 2) like

• Palletizing in warehouses (left figure)

• Manufacturing and assembly lines (center figure)

• Line control with quality inspection (right figure)
